Lakeland’s one and only Swing Dance Organization

As Lakeland’s swing dance organization, we specialize in Lindy Hop, the energetic partner dance that originated during the Jazz era of the 1920s and 1930s. Our community celebrates the history, creativity, and joy of swing dancing through weekly classes, social dances, workshops, live music events, and community gatherings in Central Florida.

We believe swing dancing should be accessible to everyone. You don’t need prior dance experience, special shoes, or even a dance partner to join us. Many of our dancers come solo and quickly become part of our growing dance community. Our beginner-friendly lessons are designed to help new dancers feel comfortable while giving experienced dancers opportunities to continue improving their skills, musicality, and connection on the dance floor.

At the heart of LKLD Lindy Hop is a passionate team of volunteers, instructors, DJs, performers, and community members who help make every class, social dance, and special event an experience to remember. From organizing weekly swing dance nights to hosting larger Lindy Hop events and workshops, our team is dedicated to creating a welcoming atmosphere where people can learn, laugh, and build lasting friendships.
